Canopy removal

Caption:: By reducing wind resistance, removing the canopy of the banana plants on the right protected them from being damaged by cyclone Yasi, which hit Australia's main banana production region of northern Queensland in February 2011. The doubled over plants on the left had not had their canopy removed and took longer to recover.
